Thank you for the time and energy you devoted to PakdayLA 2007 event. Last year's event could not have been possible without your dedication and hard work. We recognize that time is so valuable these days. Therefore, we are even more grateful for the countless hours you spent last year in making the 60th Pakistan Independence Day a success.

As Pakistani Americans, we will continue to establish the middle ground between our cultural heritage and our present surroundings, Events such as Pakistan Independence Day celebration close the gap between our past and our present. You, as a volunteer represent the true spirit and tenacity of Pakistan. You represent the vision that without maintaining our past we cannot move forward.
